Sponsor IMPACT, the PLUS ME Project spring celebration where five high school seniors share their stories on stage and receive scholarships before they graduate.
What is IMPACT?
IMPACT is PLUS ME’s annual spring celebration of five high school seniors who receive the My Story Matters IMPACT Scholarship, and share their story on stage before they graduate.
More than 200 community members attend, including educators, business leaders, and civic leaders. The evening also includes a silent auction and the presentation of our community awards.
Sponsors are recognized throughout the program, with opportunities for remarks and photographs depending on level.
What stops many seniors is not ability, but confidence.
Confidence is built through practice, recognition, and celebration. IMPACT gives five graduating seniors that opportunity.
Of recent high school graduates say they feel only moderately, slightly, or not at all prepared for what comes next.

The Beth Bythrow
Educator of the Year Award
Honors an educator who creates spaces where students feel seen, valued, and empowered to share their stories. This award recognizes a teacher whose work reflects the PLUS ME mission: helping young people build confidence through personal storytelling as they pursue their life goals.
The Rosa Castro
Volunteer of the Year Award
Recognizes a volunteer whose service has strengthened the PLUS ME community. This award celebrates an individual who shows up with heart and commitment, supporting young people in building confidence and connection through the art of personal storytelling.
