PLUS ME Youth Advisory Council
What is the PLUS ME Youth Advisory Council?
The PLUS ME Project has launched applications for our inaugural Youth Advisory Council. This council will comprise of 10-12 young leaders who will support PLUS ME by providing feedback on our workshops and adding their mark on our organization.
This is more than a group project—it is a leadership pipeline. We are looking for voices that will challenge us, inspire us, and help us bridge the gap between learning and real-world impact.
The Youth Advisory Council commitment lasts from August 2026 to June 2027.

Experience five in-person PLUS ME Workshops (Leaders, Storytellers, Writers, Achievers, and College & Career) that foster spaces of self-reflection, connection, & meaning-making to help shape your future.
Participate in five virtual youth-led feedback sessions where you will collaborate with fellow council members to provide valuable insights and suggestions related to PLUS ME’s programs.
Add your cohort’s unique vision to the PLUS ME Storytelling Center in Highland Park.

1 hour of free college essay support
Opportunities for Volunteer hours
Mentorship opportunities from professionals in your area of interest
Stipends for in person gatherings

At least a junior in high school (up to college freshman) at the time of applying
Live in Los Angeles County
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Deadline: Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:59pm
