LISTEN 2024

The PLUS ME Project offers an annual scholarship called My Story Matters: LISTEN that encourages high school students to write and share their stories. Recipients receive a financial award, training on how to deliver their story, and they share it with an audience of supportive community members at a culminating event known as LISTEN.

LISTEN 2024 was a resounding success! With record-breaking attendance, this year was an incredible testament to the power of story and community. Every student shared their story with resilience and pride which was lovingly received by an audience of PLUS ME supporters, educators, guardians, and families. The evening peak was a surprise announcement that every student was walking away with $1,500, which was $500 more than they expected!
