IMPACT 2025: Empowering Students to Shape Their World
Stories filled the room with hope at this year's IMPACT 2025 celebration on Saturday, May 17. Christine Devine hosted the event where each of this year’s five IMPACT Scholarship recipients received their award and shared their personal story live with the PLUS ME community.
One of the event's guests was community and systems partnerships leader Stephanie Orozco. When asked about her experience, she said,
"It was moving to see how empowered the recipients were after giving voice to their experiences. Young people have a lot to say, and we don't often give them the space."
This event created exactly that—a space where young voices made an impact and were celebrated. As Stephanie noted, "When I was younger, I know how much I would have benefited from having a room full of people cheer me on."
Thanks to the support of this event’s sponsors and people like you, donations and silent auction bids raised $34,000 to ensure PLUS ME can continue this work. These scholarship recipients now move forward with both financial support and the confidence that comes from knowing their stories matter.
